2002 Porsche 911 C2 Convertible automatic tiptronic. Running driving clean California title in my name. Current registration and current smog in place.
The Good: it’s a 2002 911 with low miles 106,505 mi. Runs and Drives good, engines smooth and sounds healthy..A/C blows ice cold. Prior owner was a woman who owned it for a long time she stopped driving it years ago due to health reasons and the car just sat in the garage. IMS was done according to prior owner said it cost her $6,500 but had no documentation. Appears to be a California car. Has a clean California title in hand in my name current registration and a current smog has been done. good for approx. 60 days from now. These 996 models are gaining value and really climbing in price now.. this is a great opportunity to get one for a reasonable price.
The Bad: driver’s rear quarter window does not come up and might be missing all together. Driver seat controls not working, possibly just a plug issue. The top goes down halfway and stops. Car set for many years so all fluids will need to be changed.. transmission takes a second to shift into gear from Park & sometimes shutters a bit think it needs a filter and fluid change. Battery drains after a few days of sitting, Have not owned it very long and I’ve driven it around the neighborhood a few times fun to drive. Paint shows scratches and scuff marks as seen in pictures and small impression above right rear wheel.
