2001 Porsche 911 Carerra Last of the animated 911. I used the car as a weekend driver then got a GT3 and converted this to a track weapon for DE events. Car has never raced wheel to wheel but it has been enjoyed on PCA, HPDE and Hooked on driving track days.
The Racing shop who performed the work checked out car before the investment before investment of list below was made. agenda was to transform 2001 996 into as close to cup/track car as possible while maintaining DOT compliant as possible to use for DE track days while keeping reliability and low maintenance the most important goal. The result was a light weight well balanced fine tuned chassis that accepts GT3 RS spec tires with no flared body panels or aftermarket fenders. End result is a machine that you can comfortably drive 10/10ths I can’t say enough good things about the Car it is the real deal. As you will see in the pictures I bought a 2018 GT3 PTS custom Allocation so financially challenged due to purchase of new car that showed up about 4 months early.
Engine Modifications none (I was told to learn to drive it and they would change intake and headers and flash PCU) I never had this performed car runs with late models and 997 gt3 cars pretty well due to weight to HP ratio same and this car has (in my mind better undercarriage)
