2000 Porsche 911 / 996 Carrera, Black on Black, Leather, Tiptronic, 18″ twist wheels w/painted crests, CD, Tinted glass, Sunroof. This is a California/Arizona car has never seen salt or snow. These 996 cars are the best value in a Porsche period. 300 HP from a 3.4 water cooled flat 6. Great handling and driving car. Needs nothing. This car is ready to drive anywhere. Do to medical problems I can no longer drive. Car always in climate controlled garage. Get in and go …..

EXTERIOR: As you can see in the pictures, the body is in excellent condition for an 18-year-old car. The paint has been well cared for with a deep shine (recent buff). There are a few small rock/paint chips here and there, but nothing stands out. Headlights are clear and everything works as it should. Overall super clean and this car still turn heads! 18″ factory wheels are in good condition showing minor curb rash. Tires are excellent.

MECHANICAL: The car runs and drives beautifully. IMS Retrofit by LN Engineering in 2017 serial number # 25336 installed at Beck European in Scottsdale and confirmed by LN. This is the second LN IMS relaced in the car. First one in 2013 serial # 8198 at Martins German in CA. The engine runs strong and smooth with no smoke on cold startup or any other time for that matter. In its early years, this car was serviced at Santa Monica Porsche/Audi and Beverly Hills Porsche from 2000 to 2006 according to the carfax report I ran when I purchased. Later years service work done at independent shops and by the former owner including IMS replacement at Beck’s in AZ. Milage is accurate. There are no dash warning lights (i.e. no check engine, etc. lights). The Tiptronic automatic transmission shifts great. NO LEAKS whatsoever from any component. The car’s A/C will absolutely freeze you out and the heat works just as well. Tires have lots of life left.

For 130k the underside of the chassis and engine are exceptionally clean and dry. (see pics) Looks like a 30K mile car.
Within the last 7,000 miles, New LN IMS Double Row Bearing. Please visit the following link to verify both LN replacements in this car.

The prior owner informed me the car had a major service at the time of IMS replacement last year, including new: timing chain guides, rear main seal, valve cover gaskets, air/oil separator, Water Pump, and battery. Prior owner also replaced the front control arms (with new ball joints), sway bar links, and tie rod ends. And of course, a full four wheel alignment was completed after these front suspension components were installed. I have cleaned the throttle body and replaced one 02 sensor.

INTERIOR: I give the interior a 9 out of 10. This might be the best part of the car. Again, as you can see by the pictures, this 911’s interior does not look its age. Both the driver and passenger seats are powered and the car was optioned with a powered sun/moon roof that works perfectly. Power windows, locks, audio, cruise control, etc. work as they should. The only thing of note on the interior is that the flaps on the backside of the visors are no longer on the car (you can get new ones for $35 each from ECS tuning.
